Did you know that the city of Omaha is older than the state of Nebraska?

Try Googling "historic neighborhoods Omaha, NE" and you'll find lists and lists of neighborhood names, many you've probably never come across. Each has a history of its own, and in some cases, goes back to the founding of the city of Omaha.

We've sifted through the lengthy lists and come up with our Top Ten. Beautiful homes, tall trees and in some cases, fun shops and restaurants, make up these interesting local hoods.
