Midtown Realty is located in Midtown Omaha. While we do manage properties all over Omaha and even a few suburbs, we got our start in Midtown.
We're walking distance to Midtown Crossing and have watched this area transform over the years. As we speak, or in this case write, we are watching Dewey Park, across the street, being torn up for a new dog park development.
Since we consider ourselves experts in real estate, why not take a crack at restaurant reviews? With this area booming, there are so many establishments to try and critique!
The five restaurants below are a 1-5 minute drive from our Midtown office.
High-End Fare: Stirnella
Located in the recently revitalized Blackstone District, Stirnella has delicious, gourmet fare, for a price. Yes, it is pricey, but for a special occasion, it is worth it. The menu changes often, but you really can't go wrong!
Great for a Group: Cantina Laredo
A Midtown Crossing staple, serving great chips and salsa and tasty margaritas, Cantina Laredo is always lively, has a terrific patio and should have room for your pre-concert group. We like the Steak Fajita Tacos or the Enchilada Veracruz. And did we mention the endless chips and salsa?
Family Friendly: Noli's
Also located in the Blackstone District, Noli's is a family owned Brooklyn pizzeria. You order at the counter, there are paper plates, and cups to serve yourself water. Great for kids, it has fresh, quality pizza, amazing homemade poppy seed dressing and grandma's yummy meatballs.
Gourmet Breakfast: Saddle Creek Breakfast Club
Talk about hip. This small establishment, off the beaten path, might have a line out the door, but it is worth the wait. Super cool vibe, interesting drink menu and flavor combinations you haven't seen before now. Try the Ham & Eggs if you are traditional, or the Kimchee Omelet if you are an adventurer. And use the bathroom. The wallpaper.
Quick Lunch: Le Quartier
This slightly hard-to-spot bakery at the start of Dundee has the best order-at-the-counter lunch in town. The tomato soup is to die for, with chunks of carrots and a hardy side of french baguette. Another favorite is the turkey club, but on toasted multi-grain. Sandwiches come with a bag of chips, kale salad or cous cous. Skip the chips and flip a coin for the other two. They are both DEE-LISH.
Now we're hungry. Enjoy these hot spots and tell us if you agree with our reviews!
